Here and There is a film night organized by Tashattot Collective at KASKcinema with films from Arab-speaking artists residing in Europe and North America. Based on the theme Tashattot (Arabic for dispersion), the films address the intersection between migration, identity, and belonging, of living here but longing for there. The films talk about memories, roots, cities and families in an attempt to draw a sense of home.
The screening will be followed by a panel discussion with a member of Tashattot Collective, an academic and a filmmaker.
