Naître aux mondes
11.09.21 – 03.10.21
KIOSK is delighted to welcome you again from Saturday September 11th onwards. We kick off the new season with the exhibition Making Kin 3.0by Anne Duk Hee Jordan in the main space of KIOSK, along with the opening of the group show Naître aux mondes.
The exhibition in the side space of KIOSK is the second chapter of the project curated by Estelle Lecaille (independent curator) and Simon Delobel (director of KIOSK). KIOSK joined forces with mòsso and turned to the streets of Arles early July 2021 to present the work of Belgian photographers who deserve recognition by a broad audience: Hélène Amouzou, Patrick Wokmeni, Rami Hara, Chrystel Mukeba, Prignot & Alvarez, Brahim Tall and Muhiba Botan. The result was a refreshing collection of views on topics such as multiculturality, diversity and cosmopolitan fragmentation.
Central to the exhibition is the free publication designed by KIOSK's house designer: Lien Van Leemput.
Welcome at the opening on Saturday September 11th from 2 to 6PM. The exhibition will be accessible everyday (Mon-Sun, 12-6PM) until Sunday October 3rd, 2021.
Naître aux mondes is made possible by the generous support Kunstenpunt, the Vertegenwoordiging van de Vlaamse Regering in Parijs, Wallonie-Bruxelles-International and the Direction des Arts plastiques contemporains from the Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles.
