Open Design Course
24.11.18 – 25.11.18
Kunstensite vzw (KIOSK) and School of Arts Ghent offered a course in Open Design for asylum seekers and refugees currently staying in Belgium. The course program focused on Open Design approaches in media-, product- and systems design. The course method is based on co-creation and peer learning, and puts an emphasis on technological literacy and new media literacy.
Every student developed his own work during the course and we would love to share with you their work in progress, thoughts and struggles. The students will be there to explain and discuss their work and process. We would love to welcome you with a drink. The exhibition will be open until 6pm and on 24 and 25 November from 10pm until 6pm.
