Ad Libitum is an ongoing video work by Pierre-Philippe Hofmann & Mathias Domahidy, initiated in Brussels 3 years ago. For the artists the project forms an opportunity to take ownership of the specificities of a place.
During a few minutes of footage, small everyday events are filmed. In post-production, a voice-over is added to these images. The result is an illusion of a staged banal situation. Hofmann and Domahidy play with styles and references to cinema, literature,... or the local context.
The KIOSK episode will be the fourth of Hofmann & Domahidy’s project.
